Scanning at its best - this is what users can expect with the Hexagon Metrology scanning probes. With both the smallest of these probes, the HP-S-X1 series, and the larger versions, the HP-SX3 series and the HP-S-X5, you can perform fast, accurate contour and shape measurements as well as all standard measurements including discrete scanning, self-centering measuring and continuous highspeed scanning.

HP-S-X1 Scanning Probes


The HP-S-X1 scanning probes offer the accuracy characteristics of fixed heads but can also be fitted to HH-A and HH-AS automatic indexable heads being capable to measure both in point to point and in continuous scanning mode

Compact, cost-effective but extremely accurate 3D scanning probes which can carry up to 360 mm long probing extensions and styli clusters. Available in both fixed and articulating models.

HP-S-X5 Scanning Probes


Designed for excellent precision, HP-S-X5 scanning probes are full 3D fixed scanning heads capable of simultaneously measuring in the X, Y and Z directions to precisely define the orientation of workpiece surfaces.

Available in two versions to accommodate the best styli options for every application, the HP-S-X5 and HP-S-X5 HD sensors are ideally suited to measuring the tight tolerances and complex geometries of mechanical parts.

LSP-S2


With horizontal probe extensions of up to 800 mm length the continuous High-Speed-Scanning probe head LSP-S2 allows the measurement of features deep inside a work piece. Its integrated automatic weight balance system can carry styli configurations of up to 1000 g. LSP-S2 is the ideal probe head for long styli.

LSP-S4


With horizontal probe extensions of up to 800 mm length the continuous High-Speed-Scanning probe head LSP-S4 allows the measurement of features deep inside a work piece. Its integrated automatic weight balance system can carry styli configurations of up to 1000 g.

In addition to its ability to accept long styli, the LSP-S4 excels with its low trigger forces – ideal for measuring delicate surfaces. Its long travel means that the LSP-S4 is not susceptible to damage caused by collisions.

PROFILER R Tactile Roughness Sensor


Enabling quick and easy inspections of surface profile within a regular coordinate measuring machine (CMM) program, the PROFILER R miniature roughness sensor offers a more accurate alternative to manual roughness measurements.

Measuring all common roughness parameters, the PROFILER R can be automatically swapped on to several different scanning sensors, adding surface profile inspection to the program without the need for reclamping.
